When choosing a material, consider

• Load capacity and protection: do you need moisture, grease or impact resistance?
• Use case: food, apparel, gifts, e-commerce shipping, and more
• Eco-friendliness: do you need recyclable or biodegradable materials?
• Print quality: do you need high-resolution color printing?

Common specification concepts

• Size is usually described as "length × width (× gusset/height)"
• Thickness: films are measured in microns, paper in grams per square meter (gsm)
• Opening styles: flat, self-seal, zipper, back seal, and more
